1. The People
All of our customers we interact with at My Storage Hopedale are just great people. When you’re a business, your customers are everything. We wouldn’t be running without the great support from the people of Hopedale, and we’ve been fortunate to be able to expand recently with more storage units.
2. The Location
Our Illinois unit! We’re hoping it’s our solo storage facility in Illinois for just a brief period in time. When we think of small town America, a humble midwestern Central Illinois town like Hopedale is exactly what comes to mind, and it’s part of the reason why we chose Hopedale as our launch point here in the Prairie State. Hopedale is just under half hour away from Peoria as well, so close enough to a decent-sized city without all the commotion.
3. The Business Camraderie
There’s so many businesses in Hopedale, which for a small town, is pretty crazy to think about. We’re working with several of the businesses listed here to help with promoting eachother, and that’s just what it’s all about if you’re a business owner. We all want eachother to grow and succeed.
5. The Events
Did you know that Hopedale has one of the longest running Independence Day celebrations in the state of Illinois? Now you do! Complete with a parade, walk, music, softball tournament, and even a tractor poll, the fourth of July celebration and fireworks at the conclusion is a fun week of activities.
4 Rocks Arena is an equine facility lnot too far from town hosting a variety of events including youth rodeo, barrel racing, horse shows, & weddings.
The Willis Snowmobile Museum is also in town and has hosted the Antique Snowmobile Club of America in the past.
6. Great Lakes Land Holdings and our Manufacturing Facility
Did you know all of our storage units are built right here in the United States? At My Storage Great Lakes, we take pride in the fact that each storage unit is built by hand at one of our three manufacturing facilities, Lowell, MI, Decatur, AL and Bismarck, ND! All of the storage units at My Storage Hopedale come from our Lowell manufacturing facility. We manufacture two sizes of steel storage units to be delivered to your place of business; an 8’ x 12.5’, and a 10’ x 16.5’. These attractive steel storage buildings are built to last with welded framing consisting of 11 & 14 gauge structural steel, 26 gauge metal siding/roof with a 40-year silicone polyester paint. For orders of 35 or more ask about color matching your existing units.
7. Downtown
The Downtown Hopedale area is a great place to walk, hit up an antique store, and enjoy a beautiful day in a small town.
8. The Food
Right on Main Street, you can find Micki's Farm to Table, which features local farm fresh ingredients and classic favorites. The Ribeye is definitely a fan favorite. Other specialties include burgers, pork tenderloin, and pizza. They even have a classic car cruise in during the summer.

9. Outdoor Activities
Our employees loves the outdoors, and Hopedale has plenty of great spots. Check out some views of Hopedale Pond over at Robison Railside Park. There's plenty of open green space along with benches, tables, a swing set, a small trail loop, fishing, and even a historic train caboose.
There's also Hopedale Park with a pavillion, disc golf, and a children's play area. Indian Creek goes right through town.
